Custom Travel Planning

Your Croatia trip, planned by someone who actually lives here.

I'm Irena, a Croatian trip planner based in Zagreb. I build personalised Croatia itineraries for travellers who want a trip shaped by real local knowledge, not a template pulled from a booking site.

Whether it's your first visit or your fifth, I'll help you build a trip that fits how you want to travel, with the right pacing, the right stops, and the kind of practical guidance you can actually use on the ground.

Best for

  • Travellers overwhelmed by options and unsure how to structure a Croatia trip
  • Couples and families who want a well-paced holiday, not a checklist
  • Multi-country trips combining Croatia with Slovenia, Bosnia, or Montenegro
  • Road trip planning with ferries, driving routes, and regional logistics
  • Second-time visitors who want to see beyond Dubrovnik and Split
  • Honeymoon and special-occasion travel
  • Travellers who already have a draft itinerary and want honest local feedback before booking

What you get

  • A day-by-day itinerary tailored to your travel style, pacing, and interests
  • Destination recommendations based on what actually matches your trip
  • Hotel suggestions at every stop, with my honest opinion on each
  • Transfer options and timing: ferries, private transfers, driving logic
  • Restaurant recommendations at every destination, with what to order
  • Tour and activity suggestions worth your time
  • Practical notes on pacing, booking priorities, and what to watch out for
  • Direct booking links so you're never left guessing where to book
  • One round of revisions so we can get it just right

Everything is delivered as a set of clean documents: the day-by-day outline plus hotels, transfers, tours, and restaurants that you can save, print, and bring with you on the trip.

Inside the delivery

What you actually receive

Every itinerary arrives as five coordinated documents: the day-by-day outline you keep handy during the trip, plus hotels, transfers, tours, and restaurants as separate reference documents. These are real excerpts from a delivered itinerary: 11 days, Slovenia and Croatia.

Itinerary outline

The day-by-day map of the trip: the one document to keep handy while travelling.

Sun, Sep 27 · Plitvice

Ljubljana to Plitvice, private transfer

Recommended stop in Rastoke along the way: coffee and a short walk among the watermills. Evening at the hotel by the park.

Mon, Sep 28 · Split

Plitvice guided tour, then transfer south

Tour starts around 8:00, about 5 hours. Lunch near the hotel, transfer at 14:00-15:00, arrive in Split by early evening.

Wed, Sep 30 · Korcula

Morning catamaran from Split

Afternoon to settle in, wander the old town, and have dinner.

Practical note from the real document: leave your luggage at the hotel during the tour so you do not have to carry it through the park.

Prices and timings shown are research snapshots from that trip. Every document is built fresh for your dates, your pace, and how you actually like to travel.

About your planner

I'm Irena, and I live in Zagreb. I've spent years planning trips to Croatia, first for myself, then for friends and family, and I care deeply about getting them right.

What I believe about travel in Croatia:

  • It's not about how many places you see. It's about what you experience. A slower trip almost always beats rushing through six cities in ten days in the same traveller's memory.
  • The Croatia beyond the coast is worth your time. Istrian hill towns, Plesivica wine country, Slavonia's plains, and Kvarner's lesser-known islands are some of the best experiences in the country, and most guides skip them entirely.
  • Good planning beats big itineraries. A well-shaped trip in one or two regions will almost always outperform a rushed tour of the highlights.

Every itinerary is built personally: a real person with real local knowledge, not a generated template.
